My ex wife is threatning that our said child now 6 is not mine. We were married at the time she was born. Now that we are divorced she does not let me see my said child. I have went to full links to make visitations possible. So now that I have made arrangements to go and get my child for the holidays and not taking no for a answer she is not mine and I have no rights. I know in Illinois that your automaticly considered or assumed to be the father if married to the mother when child is born. I was gone during my said childs birth due to basic tranning. Illinois also has a aknowledgement of paternity you have to sign for your name to go on the birth certificate. My ex put my name on this without a power of attorney.

My question is what are my rights and if a paternity test shows that I am not the father what steps can I take.

I've been dating the guy who was my doctor. Weird I know, but true. He's a lot older than I am. I'm having a great time with him. I'm only 22. He's been great. We both are taking things slowly cause we think it's the best way to make it work. He's divorced. I told my family we're dating and they are not happy at all, saying that he's too old for me and that he was my gynecologist and that what he's doing is taking advantage of me when I know he isn't. He wanted to come home and meet my family but that's not possible now cause of what they think. I don't want to tell him what they told me cause he might feel bad. I really like him, I know he likes me, he loves my child, and I think we have something good here, but it makes me feel horrible the reaction my family had. I've found much more support in yahoo answer than in my family. I'm so confused. I want to be with him but I want my family approval. I want to think that they might change their minds with time. I need an advice

In my entire life I have never taken a balloon in front of my parent and my sisters. I always wanted to share the joy of holding a balloon with them. Somehow I just don't have the courage to do it. I don't know why. Perhaps I am afraid about the way they might think like I am childish or something. I have already gotten over the problem with my friends but not with my family.

Yesterday, I saw a woman giving out a balloon at a carnival. As much as I wanted to take it, I had to bear the consquences in my mind. In the end I did not take it. I went home full of regrets.

Pls advice me on how to get over this thanks

i really really like this guy.. for like 3 years now. and at some point, i'm pretty sure he liked me too. we started out as friends, talking at parties and such... but a few years have gone by now and i only see him in the halls because we aren't in any classes together. he'll focus on me in the crowd, and is extra quiet around me. and if we ever talk, he'll look at my lips. (my friends tell me all this- before they even knew i liked him) he's really shy, and according to my friends, treats me differently. he's had gf's, but he's single now... anyway, i was wondering how i could get him to loosen up and notice me WITHOUT asking him out right away. it's not like we have just recently started having sex! It's never happened before, but the past, say, 4 times he has got the shakes just before we do 'the act'!! There's a few things I have thought it may be; nervousness (but god knows why this would all of a sudden happen!), excitement, fear (lol only messin!). A friend of mine is in the process of getting divorced. His soon to be ex-wife keeps postponing it just to make him mad. How long can this go on before he takes matters into his own hands and files? She is moving out of the state, and refuses to take care of the issue. This is in Michigan. He can't even buy a house because of the Dowry laws in the state. Shes getting away with it because shes the one who filed first.

This is going to seem really strange but I need a way to say sorry to my Mam and my Brother. I have upset them for reasons I can't go into but it was on a pretty big scale. I'm 13. I just started going out with my boyfriend about a week ago, but we've been best friends for a very, very long time (almost two years) so we know each other pretty well. We haven't kissed yet, because we haven't really had much free time with school, and I rarely see him at school. When we do get together, there always seems to be assorted reasons that we don't get the chance to. His 13th birthday is in a couple days. Would kissing him be a good birthday present? My plan would be to tell him everything I feel for him and telling him happy birthday and kissing him. Guys: Would you like that as a birthday present? Should I just forget it and get him something else, and wait to kiss him another time? I couldn't think of anything to get him, and this seems like a good idea to me. If you don't think it's a good idea, what should i get him?

First I am not married but I am in long, serious relationship, with the talk of marriage coming up frequently. My boyfriend and I are 5 years apart in age, I am still finishing up with college, while he has a stable job etc.. We both love eachother very much but there is one "problem" and it is on my end. When I first met him, I was a virgin, and he was/is my first "real" boyfriend. Well, because of the age difference, obviously, he has been with other women before me. It bothers me a bit, but because of my lack of inexperience, I find myself very jealous of some of his ex's-for different reasons. When I get jealous, I take it out on him, which is killing our relationship. Also, sometimes I feel like its not fair that if we get married he would have been with five women while I would have only been with him. Im not against just being with him, but because of that I get VERY insecure. I feel like I'lll never be sexy enough, good in bed, etc. Any tips, advice, stories would be helpful!
