A friend of mine is in the process of getting divorced. His soon to be ex-wife keeps postponing it just to make him mad. How long can this go on before he takes matters into his own hands and files? She is moving out of the state, and refuses to take care of the issue. This is in Michigan. He can't even buy a house because of the Dowry laws in the state. Shes getting away with it because shes the one who filed first.

Not real sure of laws in Michigan but contact the courts and explain the above situation to them and theyll tell you what to do

try looking up michigan divorce laws i would definatly tell your friend to lawyer up though these things get ugly fast
