it depends entirely on how you feel about him. just because you think youll make good friends doesnt meen youll make a good couple if you find him incredably adorable and sexy then go for it who gives a sh*t what everyone else says aslong as your happy

Hey Im in that exact situation, he just moved here and hes not that cutest guy in the world but hes really nice. Well what I did is I told him I liked him just so he knows. And he asked me out later. When you first tell him he may be shy and akaward around you but thats where you will have to go up to him and start the conversations. So I say go for it!! Good luck!
