if he's not working and has a dream of you 2 being wealthy one day, then there is something wrong with him if he thinks that will happen if ur the only 1 working. If he seems to be mad that ur putting your hard earned money in the bank to save for a new place, then he probably expects u to spend it on him instead. I really think u should give him an ultimatum. Tell him he has X amount of days to get a job and help towards getting a new place or you will break up with him and when u do, you will have to leave his parents home live in your own place alone with your own money. Hold your ground if you need to end the relationship. If he already isn't holding a job, what will he be like 5,10 or 20 years from now? Hopefully I could help some

Leave his sorry a**. My husband is the same way, I have been with him for 5 years and he has the same dream of wealth as your boyfriend does and always did. Problem is he can't and wont keep a job for more than a month or 2 at a time. I am in the process of trying to get the h*ll out and you should do the same BEFORE you make the mistake of marrying him. In all honesty he will never change. As for him being mad about you putting money in the bank, he probably is, now he doesn't have access to it. If I were you I would cut off all funds to him and make sure when you get enough money to get out you do it on your own.

You need to leave the bum. He has a dream your going to be wealthy? Well that is all well and good but in the meantime he needs to get out there and work to provide for your future. Do you really want to carry him for the rest of your life? Who is he to tell you what to do with YOUR money. You 2 arent even married so he needs to shut up and get a job!

In all honesty, it hurts me to think that you actually have to ask this question.
Can you even imagine what your life would be with this guy if you had children?
Please get out of this relationship. You're with a guy who is a slacker... who "dreams" of wealth and clearly expects other people (Mom, you) to take care of him.
You deserve so much more.
Please make sure your checking account only has your name on it. And... open a savings account too.
Good luck! You can do it.

Have him go for mental health on dissociative disorder. They have highs and lows and need meds to be in our realm of living not their fantasy world. My daughter is in the same predictment and he questions the extra money she had saved for winter tires as she is leaving me...bawl bawl bawl. He is verbal and emotional abusive. He goes on spending sprees and then asks her where the savings money is at the end yelling and screaming...it is awful. I tried helping for four years and gave up.

Is this the man you want for your husband and father of your kids? He's a loser, and you'll go nowhere with him. We all dream about being wealthy, but his problem is he loafs around mommy's house dreaming while the rest of us are working. Dump him.
