My house is nice, to me any way. its a creame color with deep red and green accent colors.i have one sister and my mom who is an single parent my house is nice to me but im afraid that my popular freind wont like me because of it. what should i do?

If you have a true friend you have nothing to worry about how you look or your home looks or anything of that nature. She wants to be your friend because of your personality and other good values not because of your choice of colors.

If he/she is really your friend he/she won't mind however your house looks like. It's the people living in that house and how they treat each other (love and respect) and how they deal with other people that's more important. I assumed your house is somehow pleasing to the eyes as you said it's nice for you.

To be frank, I really don't think any true friend would care what color your house is. If you like your house, and your friend likes you, then that friend probably won't have any serious problem with your house.

I think, if it is your home you should be the one to decide how it looks and not worry about what your popular friend thinks about it. If your friend won't like you because of your home i think if i were you, he or she would not be a popular friend very long.

You are selling your friend short, aren't you?
I tell my friends - "If you're coming to see my house, let me know a week ahead - I'll clean and polish and have someone in a tuxedo give you a tour. If you're coming to see ME - you're welcome any time!" What makes you think your friend will judge you by the kind of house you live in?
If they feel truly welcome there, they will love it like a palace.

hold your head high. it is what it is.... the more you worry does it start looking even better to you???? no??? then stop worrying!! just have fun when the popular friend comes over, and i am sure she will think it is a great place.
