Earlier this morning my mother yelled at me and said some really mean things and my sister was in on it too and i just got home for Thanksgiving break from college she called me a liar and a bunch of some things that hurt my feelings but i didnt say anything back to her for the first time cuz i was in shock that she would say all those things to me.. so i went on facebook like i always do and i updated my status..and my status said that "Dominique is realizing the EXACT reason she wanted to get away from her family in the 1st place..forget a Thanksgiving dinner i'll rather eat alone back at Illinois State." My sister went on her facebook account and my ma wanted to see my page for the first time and thats what she read...and she asked me about it and i said yep i'll rather eat alone than with yall and she was like that hurt my feelings and i was like thats nothing compared to how u made me feel earlier...for some reason she always fail to realize that i have feelings too..am i wrong?

Just a reflection...It seems it is always you women who are the ones suffering because of what he sais or does. Have you not got a foot? To kick him out with? Where are all of you men asking for "help, how shall I manage without my wife, I think she is cheating on me, I cry and I cry but she does not take any notice, she just keep hanging out and around with her friends and leave me to take care of the children"?

So i had a boyfriend for seven months and we broke up on Oct. seventh....i've stayed in contact with him a little, but my mom says im not allowed to talk to him any more...she says he's a bad influence but she's never talked to him, she only hears what people say about him, but everything everyone says is a lie...but she wont listen to me and i am really mad, and she just took my phone away because my brother said i was planning on calling him...i dont think its right to tell someone they cant speak to someone...to me its just wrong! so is there anyone out there who knows if this is O.K or not?

i need some advice as to what i should do...i want to just call him but now that i dont have my cell i cant...and i dont want to disrespect my parents and make them mad, but i really want to see and talk to him again...but they get mad wen ever i just say his name!

I'm not a supermodel or anything, but for the longest time i thought I was moderately attractive. I've had a hard time finding a girlfriend and I'm trying to find reasons why. i really really like this guy.. for like 3 years now. and at some point, i'm pretty sure he liked me too. we started out as friends, talking at parties and such... but a few years have gone by now and i only see him in the halls because we aren't in any classes together. he'll focus on me in the crowd, and is extra quiet around me. and if we ever talk, he'll look at my lips. (my friends tell me all this- before they even knew i liked him) he's really shy, and according to my friends, treats me differently. he's had gf's, but he's single now... anyway, i was wondering how i could get him to loosen up and notice me WITHOUT asking him out right away. I'm looking for serious answers here. Nothing along the lines of "duh" or "of course".

I'm just wondering, because I haven't been able to find a woman who thinks that it's important for a man to live his life with integrity. Most women that I know think that it's great when a man is unfaithful, lazy, verbally abusive, and dishonest in general. They view him as being a "bad boy" who has "edge" and is a "challenge".

On the other hand, a man who is confident, mentally and physically healthy, a community leader, intelligent, romantic, honest, and devoted to his wife and children, is seen as "boring" and "too nice".

Why is this? Do these women have low self-esteem and think that they don't deserve better . . . or, do men of integrity have to start being losers in order for women to appreciate them?

i've never kicked a guy in the nuts. ever. i recently found out that my daughter has. we had a talk about when it's appropriate to do something like that, but sad as it is to say, i became a little jealous. even sadder, i though about how when i go out with my freinds, there are certain guys i could certainly do it to and nobody would blame me in the least (i'm a little chunky, so certain guys feel free to be crude and act like they're doing me a favor for beeing sleezy to me). its pathetic - but i'm tempted.
