how important is it to them? I think with most guys it's probably the most important thing, and everything else can be forgiven. But how much does it count with women?

Well I don't mean dirty looking. But how about a guy who's 5'6" and thin with a good personalityity. (descrption of my boss). He once told because of my looks & height; I can get any girl. It's baloney anyway; I think he's gay . . .

well looks pay a big factor to ladies! im mean it almost like 50% of the matter, well maybe not that big, then i guess the other percents your personality. But think of it this way girl wouldnt recognize you if you look worn down or smell, they pay more attention to people that are more clean, and look decent, c where im coming from, then personality comes in matter. it might not happen in all cases but most of the time.

Yes, but I do think it's far less important than looks are to men (yes, this is a generalization).
I think that most women are more content to have a caring, loving, funny partner whose a good companion more than anything else.

Yes. Along with their manners and personality, appearance definitely counts also.
Doesn't have to be wearing a suit all the time but just clean and neat clothing with colors that aren't hard on the eyes.

It's the first thing we notice--but definitely not the most important. Personality and values matter a whole lot more to me.

for me looks is a plus but not the most important thing. but remember this is me talking and there are girls out there who only want looks. my biggest thing is if they can make me laugh. i look for personality first. so it pretty much depends on the girl

my guy is cute in his own way... i think i fell for him because of the whole package... he makes me laugh, he genuinley cares, and he just makes me feel great. like he's not butt ugly but he's not a super model either... his personality off sets his looks, they kind of balance each other and girls are just drawn to him... but i get to keep him :)

i personally dont care what the guy looks like as long as his personality makes up for it..i love a guy who can talk and is funny..someone to make me laugh..thats all that matters to me...
