Pick and choose your battles wisely. Stand up for yourself if it is something you really believe in. Otherwise, if it's something he really believes in, listen, be understanding, and just let it be. It's not worth the aggravation to always argue or that you always have to win. I think its really important to only argue when absolutely necessary. If you are not wanting to get into a fight; let him know, and stop the conversation. Sometimes, later I'll even get an apology for it. I just don't make a big deal out of it. They appreciate that.

I apologize first. Somebody has to. I tell him I'm could be wrong, and he's probably right. Then after everybody isn't mad anymore, he will usually consider what we disagreed about and he will discuss it with me like an equal.

a good deal of make-up sex and brownies. We usually take a walk to cool off and realize how stupid we are being. We really don't argue all that much anyway. Gotta love make-up sex though...sometimes I piss him off (on purpose) for a good romp session!

Talk things over almost immediately. Sometimes if one or both of us gets upset we give a little time for cool off.

we usually fought, and then i would apologize (being pregnant i would take a couple things out on him) and then everything would be better.
but i guess it was never settled cuz we always fought about the same thing. and it turned out i was right.

get them a gift and buy 12 RED roses but 1 of the roses is fake then place it in the middle so it blends in and tell her that you'll love him untill the last rose wilts.

I usually say you are right, even if she is wrong. I get her to relax and then I try and show her the right answer. But when she is right she's right.

we are really not super-human ...but we really don't argue. because we refuse to argue over the small things in life or the silly things in life.
