Figuratively speaking, because it isn't possible right now. What if you and your ex still had feelings for each other, and wanted to get back together, but you realized they had had a LOT of sexual partners in the years that you have been apart. Would you make them get tested for STDs before sleeping with them?

I am so hurt and depressed right now. He got upset at me for not dropping the subject of a conversation we were having which I only didn't because he was assuming something to be true that wasn't and I wanted to be more clear with him. He then started cussing at me and called me a b**** about 10 times and was screaming in my face to where I felt his saliva on my face, he said he was sick of my s**t, and its over b***h multiple times. He then ran into the garage and I went to see what he was doing he then slammed his hand on the hood of his truck, punched his side mirror and still yelled on top of his lungs. I then left the situation. Later that evening he said he didn't know what to say because he knows he hurt me. He said we can talk about it the next day. Well here we are going over the events of last night and he explodes on me again this time by only yelling at me. I basically have no means of any communication with him right now. I can't say anything that sounds like complaining..

I have this guy friend, who said he likes me. He asked me if i want to travel to germany. I said yes and the next thing i knew he said he bought us plane tickets to fly there. But I haven't seen him for 3 years so he calls me almost all the time. I told this to my mother but she doesn't belive it. now i don't know if i shoul or not either.

ps... his job gives him a lot of money a month supposedly as what he said. And by the way we are only sophmores in high school.

i think im in a little trouble cause ive got a stepdad who decides out of no were that he wants to hit me for no reason. he slapped me and i didnt see it coming. hes been drinking anything that he can get his fat fingers on. he was wasted when it happened and he took out his belt last week. i just moved in a month ago..im 15 and yeah i told my mom she said i deserve it when he hits me. i would wait it out if it was a swing every once in a while but iv got marks on my body from his drunk ***. i dont want to wait around until he has to take his anger out on someone again. if i wait around is he going to hit me some more and is leaving the state gona make things way worse?

when i asked her why she went and made other plans she said that she though that i would want a "date nite" with my husband.

first off, she never even asked me what i wanted to do. second, i have been married for 3 years!!! i am over the whole date nite thing... we do that all the time! i wanted to spend time with all of mine and my husbands friends and obviously my best friend... but seriously.
is she even my best friend? she has been MIA for 4 months now with her new boyfriend... this isn't the first time she has really hurt my feelings in the past 2 months... this feels like the icing on the cake. any ideas how to deal with someone so selfish and inconsiderate or am i overreacting.

i am in love with a guy through internet..and we wanna meet each other now after one year..i trully trust him..he wanna travel to my country to visit me..we always talk by cam..i saw more than 100 pics from him and all his family and sometimes i chat with his sister..we talk in yahoo everyday..if not we mail and say all what we did during the day..even what we eat for lunch..he say he love me and i love him so much..just the matter of culture and language can be a big issue?

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've heard social workers use this term many times. It seemed so strange I thought it would never touch my life so I never bothered to find out what it was. Now I've been very ill and in and out of Doc's offices/hospitals for 11 months now. I've brought no money into the home. My husband works 100+ hrs per week, always did even when I had a job. His 20 something son works full-time and the 18 yr old part-time. We all live in a small apt. When rent/utilities are due totally $850 monthly (or $280 each they all struggle to pay). It's thrown in my face that I'm not "contributing". I'm given about $3-5 per day to eat, get gas to take sons to work, etc. I'm never allowed to see any paycheck stubs or bank accounts. If this isn't financial abuse I don't know what is OR is it? Does anyone know for sure?

My boyfriend of nine years finally decided to propose to me. They only reason we are not married yet, because we've been on and off for so long, but now it's official. He propose to me without the ring... Of course I said yes. Tomorrow I am supposed to meet him to receive my engagement ring.

I don't know if I'm nervous or not, but my mind changes like every day. I don't know if I want to marry him. I'm not sure if it's because we are still going through our problems, but I don't want to make the wrong decision. At the same time I don't want to lose him. I guess all I really need is some reassurance that everything will be fine. Should I put it off until those "confuse" feelings disappear, or is it normal to feel this way?
