It means that your motion or petition has been denied but that you may file it again if the mediation fails to resolve the matter.

It would suggest that the court finds some merit in your motion, but that for some reason he would rather see you and the Respondent compose your differences somewhere else. If the mediation does not achieve a satisfactory resolution of the issue, then you should refile and the court will hear your arguments or evidence and rule on the matter.

Sounds like a domestic matter. Courts are always trying to play the role of healer, and then you find that the judge dumped his wife for a cute reporter.

Mediation is the person who listens to all sides of the story. They will ask you questions about your child, sports, their interests, what you like to do. Will ask you good and bad traits about your wife as they will her about you. They will ask how you want to handle your divorce and why you chose to do in such a fashion. Example - I want to sell the house because... yadi yadi.. They will then put a report together of their recommendations and give it to the judge. The judge will then decide and make the court orders. A little advice: There is normally a mediation video before your mediation - find out what day it is and then go to this tutorial/video - they most likely will ask you if you went. This will show you are taking this serious and they will be more likely to take your requests seriously DONT raise your voice or swear Keep things positive Don'tinterruptt when your wife is talking - instead write down your concerns and bring them up when it's your turn to speak Don't get petty Write down your concerns and requests ahead of time Remember remember remember to keep a calm tone - very important (or the next thing you know she will request you go to anger management) lmao... no joke

he has denied the divorce , making no hint one way or the other... he is seeing you both on even ground.... no prejudice against one or the other party.
mediation is a time for you to bring your concerns and conflicts to the table again, in a manner that they can be worked out... you will have the opportunity to agree to certain terms and concerns at mediation, and will probably get an answer there.
good luck.

Basically it means the judge found reason to send your case into mediation over divorce concerns rather than deliver or grant the divorce. DWP usually gives the right to the filer to bring this case back into divorce court at a later date.

In the simplest terms, it means that you can make your argument to the judge again. that there are likely flaws in a legal argument and the judged does not want to exclude you from making the argument, in a better way before him or her again.
