You sound really nice, if he is a nice guy he will notice you rather than the cheerleader types. You actually have more of a chance with him than them because while they are off practicing their cheers you can be with him, figure out a way, say hello, smile, ask him for help with math or something that you know he is good at, get to know him and let him get to know you, you might be shy but you are not silly so just remember if you don't get over the shyness, at least a little bit you will have problems meeting him.

Being a cheerleaders is not like having the key to the city.
Being shy could be a problem.
If he like you too then none of those things will really matter

Well, you do have a chance. Everyone has a chance. Just, talk to him. I bet you he won't like cheerleaders, I don't think anybody does. All the cheerleaders I know are single.

well do you think they have a better chance with him? if you do then just talk to him he is just a person ,but don't change yourself for him and a cheerleader isn't always the best thing

Honestly, you need to show them that you can get a popular guy too with out bein a cheerlearder.. boost up your confidence gurl... and maybe you should try talking to him too.. get a simple conversation going on.

Consider this, even he picked you. There are so many girls running around him all the time. Will you be worrying all day long ?
It will be like battling other girls all the time. Will you be happy that way ?

To put it bluntly no. If keep up what you are doing you won't have chance. Unless you somehow make him notice you. From the crowd then you have at least some small percentage that he will go after you.

guys dont always go for the cheerleaers. ( especially if theve been around ) just be yourself, if he likes youthen you have a chance if not you'll get over him eventually. God bless ;)
