i think im in a little trouble cause ive got a stepdad who decides out of no were that he wants to hit me for no reason. he slapped me and i didnt see it coming. hes been drinking anything that he can get his fat fingers on. he was wasted when it happened and he took out his belt last week. i just moved in a month ago..im 15 and yeah i told my mom she said i deserve it when he hits me. i would wait it out if it was a swing every once in a while but iv got marks on my body from his drunk ***. i dont want to wait around until he has to take his anger out on someone again. if i wait around is he going to hit me some more and is leaving the state gona make things way worse?

wow...that really sucks. I feel sorry for you and I hate to say it but if your mom lets this man hit you then she is a piece of **** just like him. If you run away it will make you look like a delinquent and you can get in trouble with the police. you need to talk to someone like a counselor at school or something. They will probably notify child protective services but it is better to live in a foster home or group home than with a drunk abusive stepdad, right?

You are 15 and he is a STEPDAD he has no business even laying a hand on you.
You go immediately to the closest police station or call 911 on the phone for an officer to meet you because you have been assaulted they will come to where ever you are, school or a store, show them the welts or bruises on your body that he made with the belt, do it today, right after you read this, I am not joking.
The police HAVE TO photograph the bruises take your statement and then they also HAVE TO go and arrest him for Child Abuse and Assault. He will go to JAIL for a minimum of 8 years for this and by the time he gets out you will be old enough to be out of the house.
Please do what I am telling you to do before he hurts you again or someone else.

Well have you ever called the police or do you have anyother family members? No not if they dont know exactly where your going. But you should contact someone who deals with abuse! Stay at a friends house tell a friends parent and have someone help you! Yea and you have marks too... You should go to the police station seriously! Aint no man got no right to be putin his hands on a girl for no reason. You should leave!

I would get a hold of Child Services. Where would you go really? How would you make money. Being placed in a new home is better than like selling your body on the street. I would talk to somone about it a teacher maybe, another family member? Get some help. God Bless you.

dont go to mexico, tell a teacher or tell the cops. the worst that might happen is that your mom will be a ***** and will have negative feelings towards you, but your planning on leaving the state so i think you'll live with that. if you tell the cops they'll help you because this is child abuse and your stepdad might be sent to jail or rehab.

OMFG..........mexico isnt the anser sweetie, you need someone to first off kick his an your mother ***. If I wasnt preg id do it myself. Do you not have family that can help you out of there? Oh an call the cops thatll straighten both their asses real fast. Go to a freinds parents explain to them im sure theres someone close that can give you the support you need but you do need to get out. Good Luck honey.

dude, call th 5-0 right now while u still have the marks for evidence. i went thru the same thing about a year ago and i finally got up the courge to tell the police after he broke my arm, so TELL THE POLICE RIGHT NOW

Since your Mom won't listen, go to an adviser at school, the minister of your church, the police. Get help before he doesn't know when to stop hitting.

where are you from? in the Caribbean it is common to beat your children...but if you r American honey that is child abuse...u should warn your mom...tell her the next time he takes you and make you his hitting sack you will marsh up to the police and show them your marks from his hitting and he WILL be thrown in jail...the only bad thing is after that who are you goin to turn to...if you have family in Mexico then notify them before you report him. so they can know that they have to come get you...cause unless you mom can prove that she did not know of your beatings she is not going to get you back.

If youre in school, go to your guidance counselor and tell them Trust me something will be done!!
If not, go to DSS or the police, or the peron you were staying with before...
You shoudn't have to live like that. Nobody deserves that.
