Last week at a going away party for a male bartender at a bar and
resturant the following discussion occured. The bartender said he
was leaving the area because he gets letters demanding $19,000.00 dollars in back child support. He fumed,"it is the women
who are obsessed with having children", let them support them".
the men clapped. "Besides, he said, if I was a woman I would protect
myself". The men clapped and hooted. Should men be forced to pay child support? what do you think?

when i was four i moved in with my grandparents. When i turned six my grandpa became a hella huge alcoholic and started molesting me he didn't sop till i was 12. at 14 i told my grandma she called the cops on him and i got put into foster care i went threw hella s*** and my family is still really distant and don't act like my family anymore i don't know what to do.

Becuase of my cultural and religous beliefs i dont date or do anything like that, but i still like to look sharp (i'm just real preppy) and i get alot of attention from girls becuase its high school and people get bored, sometimes girls will do stuff like i guess flirt with me or try to touch me and stuff......i dont know how to reject people though. I always come off like a jerk, one time a girl said flat out I LOVE YOU and i didnt even know her this was in middle school and i had less experience so i just ran. Anyone have a better solution?

I caught my ex cheating earlier this summer. She caught me cheating two weeks ago. She broke up with me. I gave her a second chance, so what gives? I'll tell you one thing. ok... i cant believe im telling absolute strangers this, but i met a girl about a year ago. we were both intersted with each other from the start. but i didnt want a relationship, and she was looking for a husband. so we went our separate ways. well out the blue we run into each other at a cafe. by her sude was her fiance. anyway, she intoduces me to the guy andwe get to chatting. turns out he knew who i was becuase she talked about me quite a bit to him. knowing that they still invite me to the wedding that was a month away.

about a week before the wedding i get an email from the girl saying that she wanted to sleep with me before she got married. being a man i didnt say no and i did. now here is the hard part... she is now pregnant. the woman and i are both womering if we should tell the husband or not? by the way i am african american she is white. the husband is white. it will be obvious who th father is when the baby comes 8 months from now...

It's like every time me and her get together, there is this palpable silence when we're about to go our seperate ways. We have/had (I really don't know where we're even at right now) dated for 6 mos. But every single time we're about to hang up or go home, it's like she's waiting for me to say something more, deeper. I have a fairly big circle of friends, and I really like them allm except they don't all get along with each other, they are divided into two groups. When I spend time with a certain group, the girls in the other group get all uptight and just say 'hi' and give me smalltalk and vice versa. I want to be friends with everyone but it is hard, having to balance allegences. I'm 16 and she's 15, we've been together for 9 months or so and I've heard of the idea of promise rings. They sound sweet and romantic, and seem to symbolize exactly how I feel for her. I know we're young though it sounds something that young people do. My question though is how does one go about getting a promise ring. I mean do I buy a matching pair, do we exchange rings, do I give her a ring alone? I keep meeting all the wrong guys. I've two boyfriends cheat on my for the same girl. To make matters worse she lives down the street from me. I've never had a long term relationship were a guy has be committed and been faithful. When i was 16 i was on and off for 8 month with this one guy i thought i loved. One night i sneaked out and we tryed having sex let's just say it didn't work. He couldn't get it in lol. It was three in the morning and i asked him to walk me home and he said nooo. I'm really confused about life. I don't know who to be interested in, and where I stand with men.

Help, before I drive myself nuts, here.

I consider myself to be a "Plain Jane" 5'5, 110 lbs, not the perfect body whatsoever, breasts that are less than half of an A-Cup, and I don't think I'm very pretty.
Would an extremely attractive man be interested in me? There is a gorgeous man who I know, yet I never hit on him or flirt with him, because I think I would be kidding myself if I ever did. Why would he like me, when there are about a million prettier girls out there?

Also, there is another guy I know, who isn't conventionally attractive, whatsoever, yet I find myself drawn to him. Is this just me subconsciously going after someone I know I could "get?" I'm completely at ease around him, and have no problems flirting and touching him in a joking way, etc.
