It sounds like you are in some islamic country that allows extra wives and such. In which case all you can do is voice your opnion, but then you would be in the wrong.

I will take for granted that you are not in such a country as you have asked the question so here goes.

By law the age barrier can be broken by parental consent. BUT the bride to be must be willing no matter what the age.

is your how many friends are you talking about.. friends husband, friends sister, two different friends.... I suggest getting all your friends together to make sure they are all aware of what is going on.

I do not see my wife saying.. sure marry my sister. No age problem here, just a matter of... IM MARRIED!!!

So you have the problem of multiple wives, no matter what the age, he goes to jail.

short of trying to get the producers of Jerry Springer to pay you for this information I would say you need to find some new friends. The fall out from this will be atomic... big and last a LONG time.

As the 16 year old does not want to get married you can't force her into it as it's not fair on her. And your friend's husband is already married so why does he want / need another wife. Also it’s the girls choice as to whether she wants to get married and she clearly doesn't want to so why is it being forced onto her.

I think that the only thing that you can do is to sit down with the guy that wants to get married and the 16 year olds family and her and say that she doesn't want to get married and that you think that he should find someone else and at least leave his wife before he even thinks about marrying a new girl

First off your friends husband is already married, he can't get married until he gets a divorce. And if the 16 yr. old doesn't want to marry the 32 yr. old she doesn't have to and nobody can make her. All she has to do it report him to child services or the police. He's considered a pedophile. Of course I'm making the assumption your in the U.S.

I hear you....But it's her problem not yours.....
He's old enough to be her father. This must be a cultural thing.
Hopefully he'll divorce your friend first..... sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.Keep your distance from the whole thing...

It sounds like your friend doesn't mind...... The younger girl will soon tire of the game if she weds him and will wish she could have een able to be a normal teen ...... sorry

why would he marry her when she's only 16, thats jail bait. I woudn't go through with it, unless he wants to go to jail. Thats sick. I don't even think he could legally get married if she's not 18. If he ends of having sex with her, he could be going away for 5-10 years for statutory rape. He would also be forced to register as a sexoffender for life.

Friend's husband? How could a husband take another wife-to-be?

Unless he's a polygamy kind, of course.
