It's like every time me and her get together, there is this palpable silence when we're about to go our seperate ways. We have/had (I really don't know where we're even at right now) dated for 6 mos. But every single time we're about to hang up or go home, it's like she's waiting for me to say something more, deeper. We love each other for sure and have been able to tell each other (and show each other) in the past, but she wanted time for herself and still texts me all the time, and these silences...What is she waiting to hear me tell her?

I can't stress enough, she told me she needed to be by herself. That's when these silences began.

I don't know but I think you should ask her "Did you need to tell me something else?" If the answer is no then ask "Did you need to ask me something ?" Tell her that these awkward silences give the feeling that something is being left unsaid and you would like to know what it is.

Maybe shes waiting for you to get comfortable with saying I love you when you leave, hang up, go separate ways, etc.

silence always the enemy of love..
