Your boyfriend just needs to grow up! You need to just ignore him and let him know how immature he is acting and maybe he will stop and actually learn something from the class too! Sounds to me like he is showing out because he maybe a little nervous around you or maybe even the whole situation in general. Just hang in there and maybe he will the idea. Good Luck!

Have you tried telling him?
Tell him that you are in class to learn, and you can of course sit in another location.
Maybe inform him that his behaviour doesn't impress you, that mature behavior does.
