I'm so sorry to hear that. I've got a lot of friends with the same problem and they say it's just that they've both changed so much since they got married. They feel like they just don't have anything in common anymore or that their lives have just become so routine, so boring that they go outside, like on line, for something different. It's normal, I guess and I hope that while you are creating new friendships on line that you and your husband can get reacquainted.

No, I'm on here because I've been up for hours, already watched taped tv shows from last night, and no one in the house is up yet.
Definitely doesn't take the place of talking to my husband - he's my best friend, we've been married over 17 years and have NO trouble communicating - good or bad!

Maybe people aren't looking for meaningful conversations here. It could be that they are just looking to help someone out while killing a few minutes? I have the occasional 10 minute gap while working extra hours from home that I can put to better use then surfing the web while my spouse is sleeping...

Not really my husband is at work while im at home studying and I sometimes need time out, so I come on here and it feels good to offer someone advice or have a laugh instead of reading all the time and its better than wasting my time doing something less productive.x

No, actually my partner is not boring, but she works night shift, and doesn't like to drive around narrow Georgia roads during hunting season talking to me while she delivers the newspaper.

So...no. My partner is actually a good conversationalist, and very well read. She cooks great too.

I don't know if i would really call this a conversation. But in my case I use answers as a distraction from my husbands family drama. It's nice to answer other peoples problems and forget about mine for awhile. My husband is physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted from dealing with his family today. It was my daughters birthday party. My baby is 5? where did they go??

Yes! And, my husband is at work, where he always is and my children are in bed and I would just like to answer questions for something to do, get points, see if mine gets the best chosen and maybe help someone in the process and to see what other people put as answers and it passes the time of day and its fun.

While I'm officially on here because I work the night shift, I'm off tonight, and my husband is sleeping . . . . I do find that when I can't get him to get off his boooty to do something other than watch TV or play a computer game . . . yahoo answers can be very entertaining.

Yes. I'm on here looking to spend time and if lucky - meet someone with whom I am more compatible. I am married and bored out of my mind. Email me if you get the chance and we can talk and maybe keep each other entertained! Who knows?

Then why are you on here if you can? I'm married and on here because I choose to be and believe it or not some of the people on here are asking serious questions that they would really like advice and opinions on.
