I'm not the valentines day grinch or anything, but do people think to say that you love someone is said so often by so many to so many that the meaning is often lost.

Has the word 'Love' just become a cliche (an example i would draw is 13 year olds who love 'LUV EACH OTHA LOADZ N LOADZ') sorry for the stereotype, but it makes my point a bit clearer

I keep going out with my close female friend, we go to dinner, lunch together and for drinks in the evening. We also take roadtrips together to the coast and to the country for walks, usually followed by dinner and its just the 2 of us.This happens at least every 2 weeks, if not on a weekly basis. We’re attracted to each other, flirt with each other, we’re in touch practically everyday, can only open up too me,feels very comfortable with me, enjoys spending time with me,we trust each other etc

She doesn’t like it when I mention other girls that I’m interested in or ask her for advice concerning them. She always tells me that she never pulled when she went out, she’s not interested in anyone, don’t fancy anyone, etc

We kissed once(very passionate, all over each other)a few months back and she said we should remain friends. She said that I don’t do it for her(also kiss), but still finds me attractive and the thought of us being intimate doesn’t repulse her. So how can’t I do it for her?

I met my bf by a Biz trip in China. I am living in Bkk. It started out great and unbelievable that I am still in the LDR that I didn't expect it to be. In the first few months. We met each other every 3 weeks. Then once every month.

Last week we had the argument about his plan to see me. He will be going to Malaysia for a biz trip and I thought that he will stop by at see me. The problem was, he told me that everytime when we are together , it started out great. Then for serveral days, he is ready to go home! and said May be i can't handle the serious relationships? What the heck should I think? then he said or maybe too much party or so that made him wants to come home. He also said. "I just concered , it seems like your happiness is dependent on me. I am not willing to accept it right now".

Should I push forward this relationship? I asked him do you want to make this relationship work? He said "I would like to make it work in a relaxed manner"What does that means??

Hi, My b/f and I have been together for 7 years and he has a 10 year old son from a previous relationship. When the son comes to stay with us(it's suppose to be everysecond weekend that's it)he is so rude and ignorant. We have both tried to talk to him and disapline him but nothing seems to work. He is rude not only to us but to all adults. He talks back and steals others kids toys and is so greedy. We really need some help or advice. We are just about ready to give up. His mother spoils him and well we don't have that much money and when she comes around which is always she is always asking us for a lot of money to buy this and she doesn't ask she tells. We have explained this all to her and she said that the boy can do whatever he wants and doesn't have to listen to us. This is not fair on us. We don't deserve to be treated like this expecially from a 10yr old and in our own home. What do I do?

I've known this girl for 10 years now, and she is truly the nicest person to be around. I've had a crush on her for 5 years now, and everytime I seem to build up the courage to ask her out, she is already taken. Then the other night at a halloween party I started Texting her and telling her how I felt and she told me her boyfriend makes her sad and she doesnt really like him anymore, and it was really flattering that I liked her so much. Then towards then end of the conversation she completely changed her tone and said I was joking her and was drunk and needed sleep...Then the next day we was hanging out with some friends and she didn't even mention that night, but she hugged me when I was leaving. She normally didn't do this before, but I doubt it actually meant anything. But my question is, should I continue to wait for her and try to ask her out, or just leave her alone? I mean, I've waited 5 year, so whats another one? I've never felt this way about anyone, and I doubt I ever will.

I had a special friend in net for 6mos... We got closer with each other.... though we never meet yet. We talked about personal feelings, until one day he proposed his love to me and said he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. I hesitate to say yes, because we never met yet... I found him very gentleman , very sweet and caring the way we chat with each other. Yet for me its not an assurance because we are just in chat...he was heel over head promising he was very honest to me.... but there are times i saw him in cam having gestures not intended for me..One time lately few weeks ago, we were chatting happily and sweetly with each other, then suddenly he calls me with a name not mine. I quickly blurt out, telling him its not my name.... Example - my name is Tim but he called me Shane...I got angry .. he explained its the name of his officemate who is 50 yrs. old and said he is wondering why he typed her name...Would you believe his alibi.? I cried,he cried coz I bid bye for gud

I have been planning my wedding for a few months now but after losing my father almost three weeks ago I can't seem to get anything done. Its not that I don't want to be married, its that I feel so sad and lonely at the thought of him not being there to give me away.I haven't really done anything besides purchase my gown.I couldn't wait to wear it,now I don't want to see it.I have a very close friend in my fiances family that I would like to ask to do the planning for me,but I'm afraid that is asking her to take on such a big responsibilty that she may not be able to handle because she has her own family to care for.So how do I carry on with the planning? Should I ask her to help me since shes great with this type of stuff?

My son is 19 and is living at home and going to college. Meanwhile every friend he has (including his girlfriend) seem to be constantly at my house. I'd like to ask my son to move out but my husband doesn't support this. I feel like I don't have control over my own home anymore. Any ideas? He works and goes to school and I really want him to succeed but I'm extremely unhappy with the current situation.

How can I get my boyfriend to be more aggressive sexually? we have sex about once a week, and only when I initiate it. I'm 30, he's 44. Is that normal? I am tired of always being the aggressor. Besides just holding out and not getting sex at all, what can I do? I want him to ravage me sometimes instead of the other way around. Any suggestions?

I like this new girl at my workplace. She is currently in training and she's always moving around with other girls in training so I never get a chance to talk to her alone. Everybody in training is fresh out of college. One day, when she was returning from a break with one of her friends, I stopped them on the way and asked them what the recruitment process was for hiring them and also asked them some sample questions that were asked in the selection test so that I could tell my friends that were applying for a job in my company. Not that I really wanted to know, but I had to desperately talk to her and this was the only way I could figure out. A few days later, I received an email from another colleague which said that a company in my town was hiring people that were fresh out of college. I took a print-out of the ad and give it to a guy [is also in training with the girl] and I told them that he could pass it on to his college friends that were still unemployed.
