We don't know your age so we can only assume that you are under 18 which is why your relationship is a problem. You say you really love this man and wouldn't leave him for anything. But consider that if this relationship is illegal you might not have the choice. I say this because he could go to jail for seeing you. You really love him right? Do you love him enough to let him go to jail? Is your love strong enough for him that you are willing to sacrifice the relationship for his life, his future (and possibly yours) and his well being. Think about how his life will be ruined if he is charged with being with a minor. Do you realize that he will be considered a sexual predator and will have it on his record to screw up his life. He will lose any hope of having a good job. He will have no privacy as he will be listed on the internet as predator and people will actually judge him thinking he messed with an actual child. If you don't believe it, go to your local community site and look at all the sexual predators within 1 miles distance of your home. Look at the pictures of the young men stuck with this label of being a sexual predator. His picture will be right there for your whole community to see. Do you want to see this man who you love so much be ruined because of your age? I understand how you must feel, but you have to realize that this is no joke. I personally know a young man who has lived through this. His picture is there for all to see. His life changed forever. Lost his job, his girlfriend, his friends and his family. So again, you say you love him, exactly how much do you love him??

If he is 21 and you are younger, then you are either 18, 19 or 20 and that is not much of a gap in age. If you are younger than that, then you are ILLEGAL and that is why nobody will accept you a a normal couple. That makes him a pedophile and should be locked up in jail. If the two of you think it is such a great thing and the real deal, then you need to wait until you are 18 years old!

I know from experience that when you're young, I'm talkin' 15 -18 you think you know everything there is to know about love and life and men. It may not be the fact that he's older than you, it may be that they are seeing something in him that "love" has hidden from you. When I was 16, I thought I was madly in-love with a guy that was 24. My parents were COMPLETELY against it. I thought it was because they thought I was too young. He turned out to be a very dangerous person; threw me down on the ground and threatened to beat me up because I wouldn't ask my daddy if I could marry him. After we broke up, I found out that he threw his next girlfriend through a solid oak door and broke three of her ribs. Step back and try to look at the guy from another perspective. Does everything he says coincide, or do some things just not fit? Always be careful. Good Luck.

Who cares about age? Age is just that, a number. Just don't get yourself pregnant.. and if u really love each other u won't be hung up on not being excepted, that will come later. But if it is considered ilegal than only display affection in the private of your own home, until your of legal age. There is nothing wrong with that, time will tell if you guys were meant to be. And again don't worry about what other people think, u are only here to please yourself and make sure u are the one happy with your decisions.

dont worry, if you are way too young for him, you will get over your teen crush or infatuation while he is in jail with the other perverts. Its not gonna be the end of the world for you, and when he gets out he may decide that he wants a real relationship with someone his own age, prison makes people grow up.

I think you should just stay within the confines on the law till you're 18. There's no law against loving someone, but you know what I mean. If it's true love then it can wait till you're older. I don't disagree with age difference, but I do agree with obeying the law.

i have been there. and i agree and disagree!!! i was 15 and my bf was 28, even now i'm 27 i still think it was one of the most romantic and passionate relationships i ever had. noone does understand that, they think he must have preyed on me or something, but i was actually good for him. and i felt really free and happy with him. people wont understand or accept you, and later i did feel like i was too young. but i still can see why i did it. i think if you are happy with him that's all that matters. just know that you might change and think that's not what you wanted after all.

If he is 21 and MUCH older than you he could end up in jail. Honestly, when a 21 year old guy is dating women much younger than him he ususally has issues. I would find someone my own age and give him time to mature.

If he is only 21 and is "so much older" how old would you be? If you are under 18 then that makes your boyfriend way wrong and most people won't accept that.

Prison?! PRISON!? Are there no non-felons you could date?

10,000 years separate the evolution of white human beings and black human beings. we are very different, you won't be able to easily say "we are all human, end of tale" because we are not, we are all different. We variety in a lot of different techniques - we do not ignore sex or gender claiming that "we are human, not men/women human beings", nor can we do an same with social class, age, or any of something of it. EDIT: sure, 10,000 years distinction. you're in all likelihood not smart adequate to understand the point i'm making the following so i'm not likely to annoy explaining it. after all, you may want to not even spell a number of the words on your own question wisely.
