I would like to hear more from GIRLS. Also, just don't say, "YES" or "NO" to the above question. Give reasons with your answer, preferably, with lots of examples.

Thanks.

one of my friends has been hinting about asking me out for a few weeks + a few days ago he actually did ask me out. i was very flatered by it but the thing is, he's a lot shorter than me + it looks weird when we're together. i think he's really easy to talk to, but he's the shy type + it's really awkward when we're together now. he really likes me + he's been trying to do things to get me to like him more. the problem is that i've been single for 2 years + i'm sick of it + the other guy that i really want to go out with is going out with this other girl who used to be my friend but now shes a snob. + i've heard theyre gonna be together for a while. i like my friend as a friend and i dont want our friendship to be difficult b/c then i would be losing a good friend + we have a class together too. i'm sort of desperate and i like all the perks of having a bf, but i dont wanna go out with him just to say i have a bf. b/c then i would break up w/ him + hurt us both. plz help wat shud i do?

I have no great reason to be in contact with her other than as causual friends. She shows no signs of wanting my boyfriend back, or wanting to get at me for dating him or anything. She contacted me because a friend of mine let her know my IM address. People keep telling me it's not healthy for my and my boyfriend's relationship to be in communication with his ex. Is this true? Should I stop the already minimal corrospondence?

I mean is it usually required of a baseball pitcher to remove his wedding ring? I have seen several players wear it around their necks as a necklace. Please tell me.

I am married since 8 years and very content with my marriage.
However before my marriage, I was in love with a girl for 3 years.
It was pure love and we never had any sexual relationship.
I could not marry the girl I loved due to family pressure. I conveyed the same to that girl and she (though unwillingly) let me go with my parents decission.

We split by exchanging all our letters and gifts.
However till this day she is not married and decided to remain single.

This is causing me a lot of guilt and emotional trauma.

Please tell me what to do?.

Everytime my boyfriend and and I go out for dinner. He reachs for his wallet to pull out his credit card to pay for dinner. I really like him to pay for dinner. However, for the past two weekends I made the decision to pay for dinner, and he was OK with that. I really don't feel comfortable paying for dinner. He is a doctor and makes more money than I do. Last week we went to a restaurant, then we end up leaving because he thought the prices were too expensive. I felt very uncomfortable. Is he cheap? Should I continue sharing the bill when we go out for dinner? I come from a culture where men always pay for a lady. Maybe an Anglo see things differently. Please help me understand. I don't know what to do.

In many occasions, I have seen that the girl moves away from me or avoids me and later on, we don't speak to each other as if we both are strangers to each other. I thought we were friends? :(

How did she get the idea that I want to make her my girlfriend? I am only there with her, all the time, as a friend, right? What's wrong in that? Is the girl wanting more from a guy? Is it because, she was using me for something OR was it because, she does not have a future with me, as a lover OR BF?

WHATS THE REASON FOR A GIRL TO BE ALOOF, when I just want to be GOOD FRIENDS? :S:(

It's even harder with white girls :S. They don't even wanna speak to me :S.

I'm 19 and attend community college. My best friend lives 3 hours away and the friends I do have where I live, tend to sell out everytime we try to make plans to hang out. I'm getting sick of "friends" who sell out and would like to make new friends without coming off like a weirdo....what are some good ways to do so?

I've been seeing this girl for awhile, we've gone on a few dates already, kissed a couple of times and spent a bit of time together. The other night she was around at my house having dinner. I decided to sit next to her when she said 'you make me so nervous'. She later slept in my bed but knocked back my advances which was cool but she kept staring at me while I was trying to sleep when i turned over she starts to write messages on my back. What's going on here?? Is she testing me?? Why is she still nervous?? Is this kind of behaviour weird for a girl??

I think I like this guy and I know he likes me, but I'm worried that because we're too similar we wont last. We talk to eachother on the phone or aim most nights and tease eachother a lot... but in a good way. My friends think I should go for it, but my last relationship made me swear to never date a younger guy again and this guy is a year younger. any comments?

I have alot of info and not much room so here it goes. A woman contacted me through an internet site about a year ago. We have talked on the phone every month since then. We have never met!! She lives about 60miles away. We talk about personal thngs all the time and even have phone sex. She has a respectable job and is not a scammer. The girl has a habit of not calling me back for weeks at a time. She says that she is very busy. She has also told me that she is not dating anyone. We have made plans to meet but then she will never call me back to confirm. I asked her point blank the other day if she wanted a relationship or just wanted to be "penpals". She told me that she would love to have a relationship but doesn't know if she can put enough time and energy into it because of the distance between us. She said that we need to talk about it and come up with a plan, so I haave called her for the last three days and she NEVER answers or calls me back. Is this worth pursuing??

I'm 30, in great shape, not much body hair, tall, lean...and like to wear speedos to the beach. I never act like I'm full of myself or even approach women. Why is there this instant revulsion to the male body in something like speedos, according to so many polls? I'd like to see some posts from ANY women who like seeing guys in speedos, provided the guys are polite, on swim teams, in shape, NOT hairy, fat or full of themselves, etc...

This may not be your first kiss but a first kiss with someone new. I believe the guy should make the first move what you think, after that how long should it last? Should it be long enough for the other person to kiss back? I just looking for any thoughts or ideas about your first kiss.

what message does it send to a guy(you were his first, maybe only g/f,he's 22 now the girl 24) we were 2gether 9 months ago for a month on winter break. I was his first and maybe only g/f. He used 2 avoid me like making a U turn(after the break up) when he'd see me at my work,or would not look at me. Twice last week I've seen him and we've locked eyes but were 2 afraid 2 say anything. Should I tell him I want to forget about the past? I don't even want 2 know exactally why we stoped dating now. I just want to hang out and have fun. How do I phrase it in a light friendly way so he'll feel more at ease and less awkward to hang out again?

Actually, it's not really a question, but a vent session. I dated my ex bf for 5 months. Not very long, but we said we loved each other and wanted to be together forever! Then his ex gf of 1 1/2 years, who had broke up with him last November, came to him and asked him to get back together. So, he left me Oct 5, and was with her Oct 6. Now, I just heard that they are getting married next month!!! And they are going to get pregnant as soon as they get married. Can you believe that. And..... he once told someone that he could marry her because it was comfortable, and "why not" but he didn't love her like he should...

To keep the story short, i am 23 lesbian. The women i fall for is 15 yrs older then me. Her husband is my best friend. I always have some sort of feelings for her, but she is married and i didn't think it would be possilbe she would love me back. Well, i guess nothing is impossible now, she ask me one night if i like her, i didn't response at that time, but she said because of the way i treat her, she is starting to fall for me, i was shock. We did have a chance to sleep together, but i stopped her, especially when she had a bit to drink. After 3 month i decided to leave and came to England. I really lover her, therefore, i don't want to destroy their marriage, she told me once if something happen between them is not my fault but i feel like it would be. We still keep in touch and talk on the phone everyday, we both care about each other, i never cross the line though. Am i doing the right thing? She is not happy with her marriage, one is someone you love, one is your best friend.
