No. Love has no time limit. Where the time factor gets crossed is when it is intersected by the committment factor. In today's society, everyone is looking for instant gratification. Especially women. It's not just women over the age of 50. When you really analize what is happening around the democratic societies of this planet, you find more and more start the process between the later stages of their 20's into their mid 40's depending on when they got married or have had children. being men in this day and age, most of have learned from our Father's that it is not always greener on the other side of the fence. But, what the newveaux women has not understood yet, is their Mothers' we're not wrong standing by their man and have environmentaly rebelled from one generation to the next. I call it the "MILF" factor and it has now become an epidemic! As soon as the going gets tough "they" kick the loyal partner out and the social & political systems in place take over and most men are emotionally & financially doomed to being "handcuffed" with nowhere to turn for help. Except to join an internet dating site and begin to watch all those smae women line up for one thing and one thing only. SEX with no baggage! So, except it and enjoy the ride and above all...understand it's not about you---it's all about them. Hope this helps your perspective. The paradoxial side of the definition is in the true meaning behind the Devinci Code. If our good 'ol buddy Jesus could figure out where it was all headed over 2000 years ago and tried to explain this reality to the establishment and 'they' didn't like the reality of his vision back then and destroyed him for it---"they" sure get it now..."they" just thought they could hide the truth from the masses...too late now. It will take another 2 generations to get back the sanity.

Sincerely, BS from Canada

YES!!!! It's politics and a way for post divorce industry to make money. A very reliable source says this of her client's adult children; often marriages last a few months to a few years. Reason most give for split up-the guys say the women are too demanding to live with.

As for middle aged-men are more emotional but we just aren't allowed to show it. Hence a lot of men die going thru divorce. They can't take it. Women today don't place as much value on a family sticking together.

I think it's because the media, tv, the movies & feminists tell women to dump the guy at the slightest reason. Where I live, if the guy loses his job, most of the time the woman divorces him.

Divorce is a Trillion dollar industry! A family of four living together (two parents & two adult children) split up they now pay four rents or mortagages (if each lives alone.) That's four bill payments to the telephone, gas & electric, etc etc.

There is too much money to be made BREAKING families up including couples. Real estate agents make more$$$ Besides when a family & couple stay together, they make a powerful unit.

Split up, they become more blind consumers who more easily get ripped off. And bottom line, sadly life is mostly about money to many.
With the women, feminists tell them (read singles articles & see how they paint men) not to put up with anything.

Today many women call themselves a Goddess. Heck I don't know too many working Joes that can afford a Goddess. So it's an impossible situation. Others call it progress or woman's lib (everyone lonely!)

It's also been scientifically proven that after pregnancy, a woman's body produced hormones that tend to make the woman want to push the guy away! So a lot of ladies become anti-male at this point. They hate men?!@ You can read that all over the internet.

This is my opinion and I'm stickin to it!

all ages are splitting up early. But the people who settled when they got married stay longer because they were never that much in love. It was about lazy convenience.

People hate to go shopping when they have someone they know will marry them. People hate being alone after being with someone for a period of time.

why? Because we had family around us growing upsuch as mom and dad and siblings. Pavlovs Dog. We are trained not to be alone.

Marrying for money is an easy breakup. Breaking up because someone else shows us attention is classic. Whats more exciting than having affairs? LLLLOVE?/ What the heck does Love have to do with it?
