what message does it send to a guy(you were his first, maybe only g/f,he's 22 now the girl 24) we were 2gether 9 months ago for a month on winter break. I was his first and maybe only g/f. He used 2 avoid me like making a U turn(after the break up) when he'd see me at my work,or would not look at me. Twice last week I've seen him and we've locked eyes but were 2 afraid 2 say anything. Should I tell him I want to forget about the past? I don't even want 2 know exactally why we stoped dating now. I just want to hang out and have fun. How do I phrase it in a light friendly way so he'll feel more at ease and less awkward to hang out again?

The next time you run into him, try to act as natural and friendly as possible - not flirtatious, sexy or silly - just friendly. You might smile and simply say hello - then judging from his response figure out if he wants to have a conversation or not. You might have to just continue to do this for a while. If he feels that you are comfortable with him and invite his greeting of you, he may feel more likely to continue the conversation and then again the relationship.

Try this, it usually works.

Well, think. Before he was U-turning. Now you actually made eye contact...it is evolving. Go with the flow, next time, add a smile to that eye contact....then next time kinda silently smile and say Hi...it will get there.
