It should not be rushed with a new person. Tension must build before the kiss even if it takes days or a few weeks. When passion between 2 people is at its peek, thats when they should kiss. After that kiss, you will break through that limit of passion & realise a higher level that you never imagined could exist. That kind of a kiss is forever & can never be forgotten.

My first real kiss was awkward and not very much fun, but I am glad I had that first try. It taught me what I didn't want in a kiss. I don't think it should always be left up to the guy to kiss first, and yes it should be long enough for the other person to kiss back. A kiss can be more intimate than anything sometimes and it is important that you both get to enjoy it.

If this is your first kiss ever with a guy, it may be awkward. I know my first experience was. He just went in for it when i wasnt expecting it, and he pressed his lips against mine and held them there for like 2 seconds. The second guy i ever kissed was a different story, he and i kissed for a good 10 sec. i dont know if the guy should always be the one to lean in for a kiss...i know i've made the first move in the past. it's really not a big deal who does it anymore, but i guess to save yourself from embarrassment it is a better idea to wait for the guy to make the move.

i like first kisses to be unplanned and spontaneous nothing forced or weird, it's more fun that way if both people are into it. and it depends how it feels - it it's awkward then it shouldn't last long, but if there's a connection let it be as long as it wants to be! and as for kissing back, if the other person really wants to be kissed, chances are that they'll move back in for a little more.

Eh, girls can make the first move if they REALLY want.
My FIRST first kiss was with a guy who didn't even really like me. I was SO nervous. It wasn't really that great, but I still remember it.
My first kiss with my husband was on the floor of my dorm room. We had spent the date flirting and getting closer, and he made the first move. Oh my gosh--my heart leapt out of my chest! You should see the smile on my face right now. Just remembering it is making me giggle! I think I knew he was something special at that moment.

Just had my first, first-kiss in over a year, the other day. It was completely mutual and lasted just a perfect few seconds. I'm getting the flutters again just thinking about it now :)

Okay, this is the way to do it.Yes,he goes first. Also, you should let him stick his tongue in your mouth first (so he feels like a man). Then, honey, this is where you can let loose. Go longer, deeper, and harder. Hold him by the back of his head. Carress his hair and touch his face. Touch his chest....yummy. Oh, yes, "the first kiss"....okay now that i think about it. Hold back on the first kiss......instructions given above....should be a third kiss.
