Its been awhile lol. I can relate, but it's only been about 3 weeks, and very infrequent before, but we have a newborn. I understand fibromalgia is a painful disorder, as my husband is also afflicted moderately by it, but it should not interfere with your love life. It's been hard with my hubby, I try to talk to him and he claims that it's not me, but stress and the baby and he says he doesn't see me in the same light now (by the way this is our 3rd), we all know what these words can do to a woman's self esteem! I often feel down on myself and insecure, but his kisses and hugs reassure me that he still loves me and that this is a temporary bump. Are you still getting some form of affection? Does he still say I love you? Take a step back and observe what is happening, try talking to him and offering a massage and hot bath together, try to dress sexy and meet him after work with a seductive glance . Either these will work or maybe by reevaluating the situation you will see that there is more to the picture. I wish you the best!

Fibromyalgia is usually females’ disorder as 90% of people affected are women. The main characteristics of this disorder are an unexplained exhaustion, overall pain, especially in the muscles, ligaments and tendons, and multiple tender points, fatigue, etc.
The problem with fibromyalgia is that doctors can’t seem to find anything wrong with you and that all tests show negative. A good this is that this disorder is not progressive but still a person can never fully get rid of the symptoms. Besides the mentioned symptoms, a person may have problems sleeping, experience headaches and suffer from irritable bowel syndrome.
There are a few suspected risk factors but the exact cause can’t be found. Some doctors believe it could be due to chemical changes in the brain, sleep troubles, viral or bacteria infections, blows to the upper spinal region, changes in muscle metabolism, as well as stress, etc

NOW MY ANSWER ON YOUR QUESTION.. I DONT FIND THE REASON WHY IT TOOK 4 MONTHS FOR YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND NOT MAKING LOVE..all you do is go to doctor with him and find out the truth if he is really having this illness. though " mr manhood" is a muscle but i doubt it will affect him.
Talk to him, open up what is really wrong. You relationship is at stake and you need to find out the truth on his illness and if he really have this illness, then morally support him, he is for sure suffering from severe pain and he needs you beside him

Good luck

For me its been 8 months... I need a woman!!!!!
Maybe there is sumthing you've done or said, that has put your man off. Do you guy quarrel often, are you abusive t'wards him? It has happened to me many a times with my ex. We argued and fought a lot, but the sex was awesome. But there came a time when she got so abusive towards me and my parents and physical as well, that I din wanna have to do anything with her, leave alone sex. There were times when I used the 4 knuckle shuffle a lot back then and never had sex with her for like 4-5 months till we parted ways... So, if it's not this, then go see a doc.

In order for it to be enjoyable you both have to be in the mood to want to have sex. I have been with my husband for 10 years now and during these 10 years he has had to go without it for almost a year due to severe surgeries and illness on my part. Otherwise the longest we have went has been about two weeks. Sometimes i would give in when he would ask for it just to get him to leave me alone but the sex sucked, make it interesting....intice him.....make it to where you seem so irresistable to him that he cant help himself and kind of back off a little and tease him and then when he does get the prize (sex in this case)it will be some of the best ever.

We average 3-4 times per week, except when I'm on period. Plus there are other circumstances--was work stressful, how was sleep, what happened, etc. Of course, we're still in the newlywed stage.

For me it's been about 3 days, but then again Aunt Flo is in town.

Sex every 4 months though? YOWSA! I would talk to him about it, and I would SO invest in a toy of somesort.

Morning, Lunch, right when he comes home, and before going to sleep, no we are not newlyweds. We are both in the military and no matter how tired we are we go at it, LOVE IT!!! Now..since Sept 06, til Sept 07 I have to wait til he gets home from Iraq! Oy veh. Nothing should be left untreated such as his fibromalagia, I could have sworn that was only in women, anyway he is soo making up an excuse, can you ask yourself why he would do that? Don't let it get to a year if he is actually there with you hehe...

3 times a week, if im good..and lucky. Isnt there medication he can take? Cuz 4 months is way too long to wait, in my opinion.

You might want to talk about alternatives like toys or other ways he can still participate and hopefully satisfy you.

June 19. We'd just gotten married.

Of course, we have a good excuse...........

He lives 2000 miles away and we haven't seen each other since. I swear by the gods, the next time I see him, I'm going to pin him to that bed for a few days.
