Land Phones

I have 2 telephone devices close together and whenever i call or receive calls the tel. B dials apart from the tel.A and both dial the same number twice making impossible to dial with the tel.B.
Also i cannot connect to the internet with my computer because it happens the same problem but with the dial-up. I need to know where the problem lies? is it the telephones or the cables?

Hi Guys, Me again, am so sick of Bt, all was fine when I was using another phone company for my calls and bt for line rental, but all has gone to pot since I came back to Bt and started the internet. I would like to do away altogether with BT, how can I find out about cable or these people I hear that offer , phone , broadband and satalite tv for £30 a month, ny of you guys can help please?

TALKTALK customer relations:

1. Cut your phone line off reason THEY got the direct debit wrong. (No warning of cut off)

2. Reconnected you apologised then with 24hrs cut you off again Because you hadn't paid for the modem on the same Direct Debit details wrongly taken by them then reconnected you again and apologised blaming One Tel for the mistake our previous supplier (OWNED BY TALK TALK)

The Line was required for an emergency purpose and they didn't want to know until I went into a Carphone Warehouse shop and got annoyed with the manager who said 'You are just one of 1000's'

Failed to reply to 4 letters, 12 Emails.

Failed to answer the phone for hours, then automated reply leaves you hanging on for 20mins and hangs up!

Broadband service failed Christmas Day

Broadband service failed New Years Eve from 11am

Broadband service did work New Years day until 11am.

Broadband cuts off with incoming calls.

I bought my parents a new phone and answering machine for Christmas,GE Model 25846 5.8ghz.We can't get the phone to make a call.We have a dial tone,but after dialing the number,the operator comes on and says,"If you'd like to make a call......."
My parents are both in their 80's and still have a rotary line in their home.Their other touch phones work on the line if they put it tone,but this phone doesn't seem to have that option.Is this phone too advanced to use on the rotary line?Thanks for any info...

i get my line from bt, but my calls from someone else, and both say the other should be dealing with it, is there a 'box' or something i can get and plug into my phone line that will block all withheld numbers (i am already registered with silent call guards free service)

I want to know if it's possible to do this:
Call a person I want to who lives in Canada
It not get billed to me and it NOT show up on the phone bill

I have tryed calling this person before using 1-800 collect, I put in the # and there was music...then it said they picked up the answering machine. It gave me options, I clicked 3 to bill it to another #. I typed in the same #. It said they didn't execpt collect-call charges!! Is there ANYTHING I can do?? And I can't get a prepaid phone card....because the person I live with would know....and if they knew things would turn out horrible!!! If anyone can help me they will get 10 points and I will try to answer some of their questions.
And I had a dream about this person last night and they told me they still live at the same place.

If this is useful: I had bellsouth as my company and I have a private # and i don't have collar ID or call waiting and I can't talk while I'm online.
please help I am doing this on a home phone
