was trying to contact my family abroad, but couldn't get through. even text msgs took ages to be sent. phone networks are surely bunged-up at this time. anybody else got the same problem?

Everybody has this problem at this time of year. Even the top computers cannot cope with the amount of love going down the wires, up through the satellites and through the air waves . Happy new year, and your message should be through by now!

If you are in Asia, the chance is that the heavy rain may have caused the problem. Internet was delayed and certain areas cannot be connected with phone. I use several ways to get in touch with my family and friends....if voice.yahoo.com doesn't work the other one works....I'm using right now mindspring. from earthling.net its free...got IM and SIP phone...
