I want to know if it's possible to do this:
Call a person I want to who lives in Canada
It not get billed to me and it NOT show up on the phone bill

I have tryed calling this person before using 1-800 collect, I put in the # and there was music...then it said they picked up the answering machine. It gave me options, I clicked 3 to bill it to another #. I typed in the same #. It said they didn't execpt collect-call charges!! Is there ANYTHING I can do?? And I can't get a prepaid phone card....because the person I live with would know....and if they knew things would turn out horrible!!! If anyone can help me they will get 10 points and I will try to answer some of their questions.
And I had a dream about this person last night and they told me they still live at the same place.

If this is useful: I had bellsouth as my company and I have a private # and i don't have collar ID or call waiting and I can't talk while I'm online.
please help I am doing this on a home phone

Download Skype, but you must hurry because free calling to Canada ends at the end of the year. It is a pc to phone service where you can dial any number in US or Canada for free, up until the end of the year. After that it will be $.03 per minute I think. You will need a microphone for your computer, and a pair of headphones.

Seems to me that the answer is pretty easy.. you need to get a phone card, memorize the card info or write it down in such a way as to make it undiscernable as phone card data and then just use it.

If someone's private line is set up to reject collect calls (and believe me NO ONE in their right mind accepts collect calls without finding out the price first - try $20 connection and $2 per minute from some phones serviced by AT&T but privately owned) then you are simply not going to get thru unless that person is indepentently wealthy (and in that case have them call me.. I have this bridge for sale).

Bottom line.. you are making an easy solution harder then it has to be................

Hit "0" for the operator and tell her you want to place a collect call. She will take it from there.

if the person's house doesn't accept collect calls, you will not be able to collect call them.

get a phone card, and use it at a payphone
or, borrow a friend's cell phone

he will call the assemble call and whilst it rings you will hear an computerized voice announcing which you're turning out to be a assemble call from " (persons call)" do you opt to settle for it then you definitely say definite. straight forward.
