TALKTALK customer relations:

1. Cut your phone line off reason THEY got the direct debit wrong. (No warning of cut off)

2. Reconnected you apologised then with 24hrs cut you off again Because you hadn't paid for the modem on the same Direct Debit details wrongly taken by them then reconnected you again and apologised blaming One Tel for the mistake our previous supplier (OWNED BY TALK TALK)

The Line was required for an emergency purpose and they didn't want to know until I went into a Carphone Warehouse shop and got annoyed with the manager who said 'You are just one of 1000's'

Failed to answer the phone for hours, then automated reply leaves you hanging on for 20mins and hangs up!

Non!
TalkTalk do too much fancy advertisment for me to take any notice of them...
BT advertise extensively too, but always with new improved products... Presumably because the basics are well-established. That is my experience of BT, anyway.
Happy New Year!

My problems started with their phone service. It took 8 phone calls, 9 emails TO, 11 emails FROM and 2 letters toCharlie Dunstone to get 1571 connected.
Broadband is a disaster. If you are lucky enough to get through to them for tecnical help, the agent invariably speaks a kind of English I do not understand. This adds to the stress.
Icannot use Outlook Express with Talktalk. when I click on the link for my phone bill my computer freezes. I have given them anothe email address to us but it is ignored. Reasult- I hanen`t received the promised email Bill since sgning up in September
I am supposed to get Nectar Points. How do I know?

I'm quite happy with my Broadband provider, who also provide me with my TV & telephone needs at a very reasonable price, without the fanfare which launched TalkTalk. NTL/Telewest - eat your heart out!!!

ofcom regulate all service suppliers and once talk talk know there involved they will soon clean up there act....
