I recently bought an LCD HDTV. As I was checking out the picture to all of them, I could tell no difference between the picture on a discount set (Vizio or Olevia, etc) compared to an expensive set (Sharp Aquos or Sony, etc). Why are the expensive sets thousands more? What benefit do they offer?

Now I find that a couple of these discs will not load into my computer....when I insert the disc the initial screen is a customized advert for one particular shop and I can't see anything to click on to download the images....
do you have any suggestions please?

Is it the happy contented 360 owner who loves playing all the excellent games available, chatting and playing with his mates on line and doing what a games machine owner should be doing PLAYING GAMES...?

Or is it the frustrated PS3 owner who knows their machine is capable of so much more but wish's he had bought a 360 instead while the PS3 actually catches up...?

Let me think about about this one...! Shall i play gears of war on line with 3 buddies, or shall i play crash bandicoot and watch a blue ray movie.....? Hard choice...!lol

We can also listen to songs using bare headphones and earphones.Then why is sponge put on them.Is there any purpose of that?whats the use?does not putting sponge affect ears?is it safe for ear by using sponge?

I decided not to get an Xbox 306 until next year (until all of the old stock is gone, and I am assured to get a falcon chip.)

Some channels i have are pretty clear, and others are unwatchable. How do i get perfect reception on all the channels? I got a different TV in the same house that has perfect reception so i know its not because of bad weather or anything like that.

Got my ps3 to recognize my laptop but when Im trying to see or listen to a file on my ps3, a message pops up "there are no titles". Some of them are mp3's and others jpegs and mpeg4, avi, etc..What is going on? Do I need to do something else.

Any feedback? Have it narrowed to 2 units. Both 1080p for the ps3/Blu-Ray I will have later. Both with 3 HDMI inputs.

Model #'s are
Mitsu.... WD65733
Samsung...HLT6176s

Both look nearly identical in the store for picture quality. Any feedback on features and dependability issues.

Both are standard DLP. Not LED DLP. I have read good and bad on the LED light for Samsung.

I am trying to find a new HDTV but I don't know anything about them. I have a budget of around $500. Should I get LCD or CRT? A friend of mine says CRT cause LCD does not have as good of a picture when watching DVDs. Should I get a normal or widescreen TV. Will a widescreen TV make satalite TV small? Iwas watching a standered DVD Normal regien code. The screen poped but not in the tv portion of the system and the Screen went to the normal Panasonic screen. Would not play and could not get sound out of it till i powered down the Panasonic. Then tried to finish the movie and it died again. Powered down and got the surround sound for normal tv viewing. Looking for input please.
