Almost all projectors these days have analog and digital connection options.

Analog: VGA (15 pin video connector) leaves your computer and plugs into your projector just like your computer monitor. You might have to get a 15 pin video connector to 5 plug RGBHV adaptor. The book will tell you.

Digital: Best option! If your computer has a DVI or HDMI connector on your graphics card, you can use that DVI or HDMI connector on your projector. Unless you have speakers you would like to use in your projector, HDMI and DVI are interchangable. You can buy inexpesive HDMI-DVI or DVI-HDMI adaptors as needed and they will work fine.
