People say it doesnt matter what cables you get, i think that is dumb. I have a 1080P Samsung 50 DLP and PS3 both of which i paid a fair amount for and im sure you did the same. so why would you skimp on the cables which most people say is the most important part. Monster is the best that is what i heard, you can find them on Amazon for about $25.00 which isnt bad at all.

seriously HDMI is just for 1080p so i sugjest investing on a top of a line component cable and a digital optical cable for sound. An HDMI's 720p signal isn' so different than a component cable. HDMI is for like 1080i/p resolutions.

No you don't need separate cable for blue ray ad games b/c the games are blue ray too

Monster HDMI cables are luxeries.
Check Monoprice for some high quality chap cables. I got three 3ft. HDMI cables for about 15 bucks!
HDMI is digital so it's wither you have a connection or not.
I am very pleased with monoprice's hdmi cables check them out http://www.monoprice.com

hope it helps. what size is you tv? LCD or Plasma? these are some factor you can ask about too

I have a 40"1080p Sony W series Bravia

Nope, just one cable. Also, it doesn't matter which brand HDMI cable you buy so long as it has been tested and certified. It will say on the package. There are a lot of untested cables out there. They are cheaper but they are the number one cause of HDMI difficulties.
