How do i get clear reception on tv?

I just hooked up cable to this TV: tv:http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0926INGFS10086210&catid=23242&PCName=tv%5F200%5F499&logon=&langid=EN

Some channels i have are pretty clear, and others are unwatchable. How do i get perfect reception on all the channels? I got a different TV in the same house that has perfect reception so i know its not because of bad weather or anything like that.

If you really have cable (and not off the air), you are correct the reception should be pretty good, unless your cable connection to the TV is bad.

use the TV menu to do a channel scan and make sure you select Cable and not Antenna.
