I recently heard about Comodo Firewall thats helps automatic block the internet hacker, torjan and others. So i just want to know weather it is working properly and gives full safety for the internet users.

By the way I am using NOD32 Antivirus system. FInally i want to know of Comodo Firewall and also its free to download

My son downloaded a couple of free games and after that I got viruses. It's TROJ_CONHOOK.GH located in my system 32 folder as NNLJGE.DLL. My virus scanner says it cleaned the file but it still gets picked up as if it's still active. I tried to delete the file and it won't allow me to saying other programs are using the dll file. How can I get rid of this or how can I find out what else is using that file so I can delete. It's slowing my computer down severely and I have done everything I know to do. Thanks for any help.

I know a scammer who just scammed me and is thinks im that stupid to pay him more. He is not online at yahoo messenger (he will definetly come back cuz he wants more from me) but u cant say anything about my name or anything about me cuz i dont want him to know yet that i know he is a scammer. Hi,
On starting my computer the registry entry for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center\AntiVirusOverride is being set to 1.
My PC has been affected my malware/spyware.
So wats the soluttion for me.

I have McAfee virus protection plus "super anti spyware" program. I do the scan everyday, delete temp. internet files(cookies, etc.), clean my hard drive, and defragment it. I still get pop ups eventhough the pop up blocker is on, plus when these ads for a virus protection come up, they block pictures. Not to mention, I have two trojans to get rid of which are called Winfixer and Vundo..anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

-I have tried system restore to an earlier date and it won't let me.
-My virus protection was turned off somehow, and when I try to reinstall I have to restart in regular mode to complete the installation. When I log in, my computer freezes.
-I cannot save files to cd, not sure why it won't let me.

Questions:
No dvd burner, but is there another way to save files so I don't lose everything during a complete restore?
If this is windows trojan, there is no patch to debug. I am not computer savvy enough to go through my system root. Anything else work for anybody out there?
Am frustrated by my lack of knowledge and procrastinating about backing up my documents!!!

virus' out there. i have spybot, adaware window washer and avg anti virus(free edition.) i have recintil gotton an external hard drive(500 gb) and my pc is still running slower than it should. i only have my zone alarm firewall and the free avg running on my start-up regestry. so how do i get my pc going faster?also i have 1 gb of ram.

my browser on my computer was hijacked for the first time earlier today and I have done several systems scans of my computer and have been unable to remove threats found by the scans because it says that in order to remove the threats i must first purchase a liscense what does this mean? I was also wondering if I could download antispyware for free and have the threats removed free of charge but i don't know how i would go about in doing this as I don't know a whole lot about computers thanks for your help!!

I tried to do AVG last night and then again today.......I don't think it took....nothing showed up on the computer (icons) and no e-mails were sent saying that I had completed it.

I am going to run out in about an hour and buy the norton anti-virus firewall and whatever else is on it for protection but it is around $75, very pricy......

Is there any anti-virus that I can either download off of the internet "for free"..................I don't want to pay for it off of the internet..............

If not, is there any more resonably priced anti-virus that you have had good luck with that I could buy instead of norton.

i have dwnloaded & installed spyware blaster, the problem is, HOW THE HELL DO I DO A SCAN??? their are no buttons to press for doing a scan on it, all it does is update, so how do i do a system scan? is it meant to be like that?? it looks useless to me, and here i am using a pc that might be infected by spyware and other infections.
