First - if you have an general problem with downloading and installing updates - you can search for "windows xp update agent" , sometimes after reinstall of XP updates just don't work and this is the answer.

Second - if your problem is in Windows Genuine Advantage - you can always search in different locations for SP2 (or XP+SP2 CD copy) - in torrent sites for example.

SP2 has a WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) check before it installs the package. At some stage you should be prompted to install an ActiveX program which checks your processor and hard disk serial numbers against Microsoft's database of registered products.

Either you did not allow it to download the ActiveX control or you failed the test.

It might be because you have a different windows xp package installed, then the original one that came with your computer. It needs to be authenticated.

Thats actual, i think of you want provider %. 2, so as o acquire provider %. 3, your suitable.. despite the fact which you suggested that provider %. 2 wont acquire, yet you haven't any longer defined what exchange into the reason it did no longer acquire. yet whilst it wont acquire, then you definately can acquire it from yet another internet site, If it From Microsoft, then its actual.

RAY DIAT HAS SAID THE WORDS.You could try and download SP3,see if you can,if you cannot then you are doomed.A lot of people say IE7 Is giving them trouble, but, you have to download the active X,unlike IE6.
