can i anyone help me please
everytime i log onto my comp this window pops up sayin
"RUNDLL
Error Loading C:WINDOWS\system32\dgfcusee.dll
The specified module could not be found."
wat does dat mean?
and some times a window sayin my comp has malware and stuff
can anyone help please
wats a good free program so i can remove this stuff
so then my comp is safe :D

In Windows XP is it possible to block a certain program from running, by specifying the name of the exe file?

I have some spyware junk that I just want to block until I can remove it.

Okay I have Trend Micro PC-cillin and it continues to tell me the same message again and again. It says C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web folders\ibm00002.dll has a trojan in it.

Now i searched for the file and tryed to delete it but it says access is denied. I tryed to clean it and it wont let me. If anyone knows how to stop these pop ups or clean said file let me know.
Its slowing my computer down and im really considering deleting most of my stuff.
Help!!!

well, to people who dont know what adblock plus is, it's basically like a popup blocker except it blocks advertisements on sites.
it works on firefox and i was wondering if it would work on internet explorer.
if so, please let me know the link to the download. if not, thanks for the help.

I am considering either Norton 360 or Norton Antivirus 2008. Now, I am going to buy either one, I just need suggestions about which one is better. I know a lot of people do not like Norton, so please do not tell me about other programs I should look into. I am only getting one of these two Norton products. i've tried putting in the password anyway i can, but it keeps on saying invalid password. The password is correct though, my dad printed out a sheet of paper from the linksys thing on his computer and it has the type of security and everything. Even, the encryption type.. which was like TKIP.... The computer never asked me for that. I have a feeling it has something to do with that. please help!!! please and thank you =]

2 weeks ago I downloaded the trial version of kaspersky internet security (thanks god). And from time to time it tells me that an attempt to attack my computer has been detected and blocked. How is it that other people know my IP adress and try to enter my computer? It also shows me the IP adresses of the attackers. What should I do? Does it mean that my pc has any trojan or spyware, and if yes how to resolve this problem?

My Internet Explorer has been infected with annoying pop-up ads. Specifically, pop-ups called "dcads" and "crush calculator" and "intelligent advisor".

Can someone recommend free (preferably) software that is effective against these kind of pop-up ads? I've tried several, some of which I paid for, and nothing seems to be effective.

Any other ideas?

I don't understand why these viruses and stuff keep happening.... I keep having things happening on my computer.... just had a backdoor thing... that was in a file in one of my programs.... I am just about sick of this stuff... I want to know why there are all of these anti-virus, anti-trojan, anti-malware programs??? I mean, why doesn't someone just put an end to the problems? Why do we have to keep having problems & paying for them? Can't someone just put an end to this? Seems to me that, if someone, or something can get into our computers to do this to us,,,,,,, can't we put something into our computers that will install into their stuff and kill it off????????? So, I forgot my password because I just changed it. I don't want to reinstall the OS, but I also have an extra XP OS. I've heard there's a way to get your admin account back by using 2 OS's. How do u do that? I can get onto standard user accounts but not my administrator one. I really don't want to reinstall the OS, so can u help me?
