i've tried putting in the password anyway i can, but it keeps on saying invalid password. The password is correct though, my dad printed out a sheet of paper from the linksys thing on his computer and it has the type of security and everything. Even, the encryption type.. which was like TKIP.... The computer never asked me for that. I have a feeling it has something to do with that. please help!!! please and thank you =]

So you are trying to log in to a wireless network and the password your dad gave you is not working? First off make sure you are close to the wireless router, if you have a weak signal, it won't work right. Make sure your airport in the Mac is turned on. When the Mac identifies the network, then you have a choice of what security it is. Try WPA2, usually that is what people are using because it is more secure than WEP which is the other. Go to "Open Internet Connection" under the airport icon and see what your choices are.
