I've connected to my pc but I only get a blank window with no display of the characters which I type, only a blinking prompt. Whats the problem?

lol of course it won't show you the damn password! Its not showing me what I type.

Im guessing that since you didnt bother saying what systems (linux, mac, windows, vista) that you must be a windows user? Probably WinXP?
How did you connect with telnet? Did you open a dos window? Click on a shortcut icon? use a link in your browser? You might try one of the others. Especially opening a DOS (command or cmd) window to try it in.

Telnet doesn't show you password. Is that the issue or you can't see anything you type?
