Okay I have Trend Micro PC-cillin and it continues to tell me the same message again and again. It says C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web folders\ibm00002.dll has a trojan in it.

Now i searched for the file and tryed to delete it but it says access is denied. I tryed to clean it and it wont let me. If anyone knows how to stop these pop ups or clean said file let me know.
Its slowing my computer down and im really considering deleting most of my stuff.
Help!!!

Install Spybot-Search&Destroy. Update it and run a scan on the computer. Spybot removes all sorts of trojans from computer and cleans up the mess without harming the windows system files unlike most of the trojan removers.

Ok.. if you have Windows XP try to restart the computer and while it's still loading press Space. Then restore the drive to (it will give you a few options) the time before you found the trojan like yesterday or two days ago. This should erase all the data you uploaded after that time including the trojan.

Good luck!

You'll have to boot into safe-mode. Restart the computer and tap the F8 key until this option appears then select it. Then go to the file in question and delete it. Then disable your system restore and restart. Run a complete virus scan and if all is ok then enable system restore.

Couple of things you can try.

1. Start-up in the SAFE mode and then try and delete the file.
2. Install Yahoo Anti-Spy, it's free and may be able to delete the file for you.

Better save your most important file and format your drive. Have a partition on save documents.

If you had now a newly formatted drive install AVG or kaspersky htey are good in nowadays virus like this trojan.

Upon installing restart and scan drive for virus protection activated. Also do this on your D: drive on save files.

I hope this helps.
