I want both of them along with Ad-Aware and Spybot. Is that ok? Or will Spyware Blaster conflict with Windows Defender on a count that they both have real-time protection?

Thanks in advance!

I accidently chose ok to download this virus protection. I decided that I didn't want it and completly removed it from my computer, but I still receive these annoying popups and it will not go away. I have tried everything. It won't even let me set yahoo as my homepage anymore.

I'm going to get a new AV but IDK which 2 get. I'm pretty much stuck between these 2. Can anybody help? Here's some things to consider: I like Nod32's low usage/detection. But I want them to be able to REMOVE the malware. What's better at that? Which is also better at compatibilty with other software? I don't want something that's going to fight all the time. And also, I'd like something easy to use. I've heard NOD has a das UI but I'm no noob so will it work? And ONE more thing. AOL's free AV thing is said to be used from Kaspersky. And it's free. So is it just like getting Kaspersky w/o paying? Cuz that would be great! THx!

I downloaded MSN Plus about an Hour ago... before I found out it gives you Vires's. I keep geting Pop Up's from Scamming Websites, I can't use my normal Web Browser because it gives me a Pop Up about Scripting or something, then more Pop Ups.
I mean my Computers not even a year old & I've killed it! I know that pop ups arn't /That/ bad Compared to other things but what if it gets worse? What if it Crashes or something? It's the fact that I have a Vires that scares me. I ran Nortan & it found one Vires & deleted it, but that didn't help at all it's still there. Does anyone know anyway to get rid of it??? I'm only 14 & I can't tell my parents I killed my Computer, & I'm actually sick from crying about it.
Can someone please help?

Our company recently had someone from overseas China connect their laptop to our network system. Ever since then, our internet has been running really slow, one of our database servers completely crashed, and a lot of other misc. computer problems. We have deduced that the China laptop may have infected our network system with some kind of chinese virus which cannot be scanned or fixed by the american anti-virus protection we currently run.
Is there some kind of chinese antivirus protection software that I can obtain to run on our network system to try and scan for the infection?
Or does anyone have any ideas on how to rectify the situation....other than reformatting all our computers in our company>
Thanks!

Would anyone recommend Norton or McAfee. Which provides better filtering capabilities?

I uninstalled Norton Internet Suite from my computer but the Security Scan stayed behind. It is running now and I don't want it on there. Also, why do they ship all that third party crap. It makes it impossible to do a "clean Install" of Windows?

I just started a virus scan by McAfee and as it was running 6 little windows popped up each one stating that each .exe file was not a valid Win32 application. When McAfee finished it had no mention of any of these executable files on its summary. When I try to navigate to the file on my C drive I cannot find it based on the file path.

For example
C:\DOCUME~1\All\LOCALS~1\Temp\wr-1-2000219.exe

If they aren't valid exe programs I want to remove them. How can I find them? I tried using Search. Nothing. Did McAfee remove them automatically?

Using P2P programs like Limewire, Frostwire, Bearshare, and Torrents is quite popular, so why isnt nyone getting caught. I have only heard of one and it was for someone downloading Borat. But thats 1 in a million. what is the chance of getting caught, and why dont more people get in trouble?

Can real-time protecting anti-spyware programs conflict and cause problems? I heard that Windows Defender is not that good and this program is my real-time protection. I have also heard about a program called SpywareBlaster, which also has real-time protection. If I install this will it conflict with Windows Defender (if i dont uninstall it)? Also is this program any good to begin with?

Thanks in advance.
