Nortons is junk and a resource hog. They are only good with excellent marketing skills.
You can run without any conflict with Nortons, online scanner from Karpersky Russia, rated # 1 in the world for virus detections. Allow the entire scan to run, as it may take upto two hours depending on how many processes you have running and how may programs installed. When the scanner kills the virus in real time, and th entire scan is completed, reboot your pc and you will be fine.

Wipe the tears from your eyes. Get focused. Now ...go to your computer, or help and support ( I dont know what kind you have and how it is showing up) then go to UNDO CHANGES WITH SYSTEM RESTORE. Then when ever you installed, today? then go back to yesterdays date and restore it. It should take care of that. Also a program named Spybot is a good one out there. I keep it on mine all the time to kill viruses. Also install google toolbar, which is good to have and it comes with pop-up blocker. If you need more helpo let me know.

Uninstall the program. Run your Norton again. Write down the name of the virus. Go to Norton website and look for virus removal tools. Find your virus and click on the tool. Norton will do the rest. Good Luck. Otherwise reformat the hard
drive.

First off, calm down, it's not a bad problem, I've had much worse, I can give you two programs that will help. Both free to download
a-squared, special scanner for trojans and malware
http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/download/
avast antivirus active internet antivirus and scanner
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
see if those help, it may take a little while to scan the whole computer with both, but they're very good :)

Simply remove msn plus, then run regscrubxp to clean the registry. You can get regscrubxp here:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048
After that go to this website and let it scan your system for viruses:
http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
Then download this and run it, spybot search and destroy:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
That should get you back in good shape. If you have any questions about how to run any of these just come back kiddo.
