Most Anti-Virus and Spyware scanning software will detect these types of programs. You might want to check out the software configuration on the scanner to make sure it is not setup to ignore a particular alert. So my suggestion is if you don't already have a virus/spyware scanner go get a free trial and run it.

Get a spyware scanner like Spyware Dr. It will discover any malicious logger programs. To get rid of it, you will have to pay for the sw though.

go to start, control panel, add/remove programs. check if any suspicious software is listed. to get rid of it, click uninstall
