I'm going to get a new AV but IDK which 2 get. I'm pretty much stuck between these 2. Can anybody help? Here's some things to consider: I like Nod32's low usage/detection. But I want them to be able to REMOVE the malware. What's better at that? Which is also better at compatibilty with other software? I don't want something that's going to fight all the time. And also, I'd like something easy to use. I've heard NOD has a das UI but I'm no noob so will it work? And ONE more thing. AOL's free AV thing is said to be used from Kaspersky. And it's free. So is it just like getting Kaspersky w/o paying? Cuz that would be great! THx!

The AOL, is the same engine powered by karpersky of Russia, rated # 1 in the world for virus detections.

Here is an excellent free antivirus program from AOL, Active Virus Shield powered by Kaspersky Lab of Russia. Rated # 1 in the world for virus detection. You will get auto updates every hour on the hour, plus an excellent background scanner that really works great. AOL, will only ask you for your email so they can send you a free key good for one year. After one year just request a new key.

Both programs are excellent and will serve you well. Both programs detect and remove 90+% of thousands of test viruses in Independent tests. The test viruses are known real viruses with the bad part neutralized.

Any AV program that will detect and remove 9 out of 10 viruses is an excellent program.

I recommend downloading the trial versions of these programs and decide on which one you like the best.
