Just an tip.
GO WITH GRISOFT! They are the best anti-virus out there. It updates every day so you you are always protected. It's also free. Don't use more than one virus software or spyware software. It is almost garenteed that they will conflict with one another. They will see each other as problems because they both modify files and scan your computer. NEVER USE MORE THAN ONE ANTI-VIRUS!

www.avast.com avast is the best and its free for home use..

It gets all the virus also has peer 2 peer protections for when you download music etc.

also email checker tons of features you just have to register for free ever 6 months.. Been using it for years norton misses some key viruses and trojans...

I use Zone Alarm Security Suite. It has it all; antivirus, antispyware, privacy, real-time protection & constant updates. It's not free, but it's worth the $ to me. For some free stuff, check out:

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
