I would like to install the software through ( my old laptop, new laptop and home desktop). Would the software allow this or restrict it by causing problems?? Also, are these virus protectors even worth buying.. are there better brands out there??

This new homepage cannot be changed, not even in the internet options. There are 3 new flashing icons in the taskbar. System alert: Malware threats, System Alert!, and Your computer is infected! There are also a number of applications trying to download without permission?? Mostly Security downloads like some type of spyware or virus remover program. Oh, I'm also getting these popups that say stuff about pornography and nude sites...asking if I want to install a drive cleaner??????

Okay, I have already ran Spybot S&D, AVG anti-virus, and AVG anti-spyware. All are removing viruses and spyware that others are not catching. However, this has not fixed the problem.

I went on to the nosnoop.com and had it run a full system scan. It found 38 dangerous and sever items.......but they want to charge me about $40 for them to remove it. Is the a program that will do automatic removal for free??? Thanks in advance!

i have heard this so much that i looked it up and came up with many definitions for it. Like one example is hacking your computer by tweaking it, personalizing it. Another one is hacking other systems and doing bad things on it. how do people do this? how do they learn to this?

I have tried several things, including going into my control panel and to the restricted sites, however, the webpage is still being allowed. I also tried going in through My Computer to Windows and System32 and such. I haven't been able to find a "host" under my "drivers" folder. Can anyone tell me how I can do this without buying software?

I see several answers in this Q&A that say what are the functions of an administrator. None say how one gets to be an administrator. Is he/she apointed in a household that has several computers? Or one person in a neighborhood? And suppose there is only one person in the area with one computer. Is he, can he, be an administrator? If so, how does he acquire that identity?

My newly installed firewall keeps telling me that "SNMP Service is trying to act as a server". I've no idea what this is and what it's doing on my pc, I've Googled it but I'm none the wiser. Is it safe to allow it? So far I've denyed it and everything seems fine..
