Hi t.i.m (for windows)
Try going to "control panel"..."Add and Remove programs" if it is on the list, highlight and click change/remove. Another option is to go to tools in the menu bar point the cursor to "manage add ons" on the drop down menu click "enable and disable add ons" if it is on the list then simply disable it. The final option is to go to "all programs" find it in the list and uninstall it from there. I do not like doing that tho as I find that it doesn't always remove the program cleanly. It cant hurt to do a defrag afterwards, you can find that in "All Programs" point to accessories/system tools/then click on disk defragmenter. Hope this helps.

Go to the Control Panel, then add/remove programs - find them in the list and remove.

Then if you are confident enough - To remove any annoying pop up's when you start the pc up:- Click on the start menu. Select Run and type in MSCONFIG, and press enter.

In the MS config window, click on the STARTup TAB and remove any instance of Orange, Wanadoo or Freeserve by unticking their boxes. One finished, click on apply, then OK. You might have to restart the pc for it to take effect. Make sure you only remove the ones relating to Orange/Freeserve/Wanadoo. If you can't see the full command, streech the window so you can see more.

Add or Remove programs
Select software you with to uninstall

Or in the start menu go to all programs, scroll down to the program, right click it and it should come up with a small menu and there should be a uninstall option if you left click the software should come up with a uninstallation wizard

or if it was a disk you installed it from insert the disk and follow the onscreen instructions

If using Windows XP's Add/Remove menu doesn't help try using CCleaner's Tools menu. I have a friend who couldn't uninstall a program using Add/Remove menu but suceeded using CCleaner. You can get it from filehippo or Cnet.
