I have advast Virus recovery data base, On access scanner, Virus removal tool & a stop threat scanner. Do I need a fire wall? if so which is the best free download & how do I get it?

Yes you need a firewall.
If you don't it is like you have a door and a alarm, but no lock.
use Zone Alarm

You can get Windows Defender for a good free firewall. Go to Windows Marketplace, then to security page.

i dont know about free, but Norton Anti Virus has been good for us for quite a few years.

I recommend that you get AVG antivirus. Its really good. updated all the time. and its free.
you can get it at www.downloads.com just type avg free
for fireeall. you can try zonealarm
