It is a virus, not a real saftey alert. We have tried to remove it. It told us to reboot the pc to finish the remove. It did not remove/delete itself.

i deleted the files because i gave them to the cop and now i need them to help get my grand children back no smart remarks please just honest answers. I thought about haveing someone come in and hack my computer would that help or just help them. I know this person and feel safe in doing so so should i or just keep trying on my own.

i left my compter for like 15 mins to watch my nephew when i came back i shook the mouse to get it out of stanby and i clicked internet explorer and it said something like (not enough data in the quota to run this program) so i started to click on everything everywhere i clicked that same message came up i could not access any files i did not download anything new .

so i unpluged it from the internet and somehow it everything started to work again i have superantispywear program installed on my computer along with norton anti virus so i ran superantispywear program to see if anything harmful was found 64 trogan virus's were detected how can this be i really doubt superantispywear is the problem i just want to know how i got infected when i did nothing to get it that way

My pc runs on windows xp. I have just installed McAfee security center from my friend's cd-rom. Windows security center is displaying virus protection is ON (in green) and so is Firewall and automatic updates. Does that mean I am fully protected? Can windows security cente detect on a current basis if my antivirus is out-of-date and needs upgrading?

I was under the impression that "FREE" meant just that, but apparently only for a short time. Got a message today that my "Free" virus definitions will be gone in Jan of 07, and I can than purchase another version for $29.99. Anyone else experience this, or am I missing something?

I downloaded free Zone Alarm firewall today and i've noticed that my windows firewall keeps turning itself off... is this right? Also shortly after i installed Zone alarm i turned my computer on again and a blue screen came up with stuff about a major device error .. couled Zone Alarm have caused this?
