I know that there is an internet history but I was wondering if there was a history actually on the computer? Unfortunately I got a trojan dropper whatever that is, thought I had removed it but next time I put computer on my internet connection had gone also icon gone from control panel and now with connection back the two little connection comps on bar are no longer there. I have run AVG, Norton, spybot and yahoo. Nothing now shows up. If I restore back to a point before trojan attack will things be ok. Also trojans what are they and why do people send them out, it serves no purpose. Thank you all in advance!!!!

When I get emailed jokes docs pics etc outlook takes exception and removes them. They are from secure sources so I know thy are alright.Is there some security setting I can turn off as really annoying! exact error is OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: to mail.doc

Every time I open Internet explorer this "search for free" page installs itself as my home page. I then reset to my original home page and it will remain as long as my computer is on. even if I go in and out of of Windows Explorer. If I turn off my computer, the next time I use Windows Explorer there it is again. I wish to stop it.

Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are being sent and the moment that you open these emails your computer will crash and you will not be able to fix it!

If you get an email along the lines of "Osama Bin Laden Captured" or "Osama Hanged" don't open the attachment.

This e-mail is being distributed through countries around the globe, but mainly in the US and Israel.
You should be alert during the next days: Do not open any message with an attached filed called "Invitation" regardless of who sent it.

It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which "burns" the whole hard disc C of your computer.
It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called "invitation", though sent by a friend, do not open it and contact your IT Department immediately.

This is the worst virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever.

I save a document about 330MB big and I shut the computer off because it contains company info. a few hours later I turn it on, I saved it on a CD and then I erased it from my computer. how safe was my info. I have zone alarm.
