When I get emailed jokes docs pics etc outlook takes exception and removes them. They are from secure sources so I know thy are alright.Is there some security setting I can turn off as really annoying! exact error is OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: to mail.doc

In Outlook Express go into tools > options > security and remove the check from 'Do not allow attachments to be saved..........'.
That will fix it.

Open Outlook Express.
Click TOOLS, then Options.
Go to Security Tab and UN-CHECK box next to:
Do not allow attachments to be save or opened that could potentially be a virus.
Click Apply, then OK.

in the options or preference menu somewhere is an option to do this. outlook did this to me a while back. might also be in some security menu
