control panel --->remove programs

but do you really want to stop your firewall? (if you've got a router this may be acting as a firewall. You could unplug the lead from the modem to the router and plug it staight into the pc- although you may have to reboot to use frostwire)

If its the windows firewall , then Goto START ->RUN , type FIREWALL.CPL

it will open the firewall window where u will have the RADIO Buttons ON and OFF.

Alternately, u can open SERVICES.MSC from START->RUN and stop the Firewall Service.

usually it will be in the systray. Look just to the left of your clock. If there is a little double arrow by the clock pointing to the left then click on it to expand the selection. If you are unsure, just hover your mouse pointer over each icon and it will display the information. When you find it, Right click on it and disable. If you can't find it, the go to add/remove programs and get rid of it.

don't get rid of the firewall. open the firewall and add your program to the exceptions list.

the more exceptions you add the more vulnerable you are to hacker attacks.

you can set it up to accept programs or shut it off most firewalls can be set for certain programs or maybe it is a setting you need to change in your frostwire program
